Hello everyone – we are off and running with another year of creativity at Georgetown!
This year is extra exciting because we have added another ART ROOM for Mrs. Persch – right next door to Mrs. Brouwer’s art room! Mrs. Persch teaches all four Kindergarten art classes, plus Mrs. Woodring’s 1st grade and Mrs. Greenlund’s Second grade artists. This new room is a busy one; it is also used for some music classes, AND Mrs. Wert’s pre-kinders meet there for art and music with Ms. Darish!
Mrs. P.’s room – don’t you just love those big paintbrushes hanging from the ceiling?
Our first week began with a calm start as we began learning new routines; even the first day of school dawned cool and quiet. Here’s a look at the playground around 7:30 AM last Tuesday. So peaceful!
We all spent the first few days getting our creative brains working again, playing some fun games and doing some nice “finish the drawing” warm ups.
We’ll be working on some very neat NAME projects in the next week – see them soon here!
Josey– your room is sweeeet! Looks brimming over with creativity!! What fun. I know you will have a wonderful year because you are so positive and so excited!! I’m sure the children love your class!! Your kids are very blessed to have you as their teacher!!
Awww, thanks Laura!
