Let The Artmaking Begin!

September 6, 2011

We are back to school today; it is good to see all those smiling faces!  My kiddos were happy to get busy with a fun line, shape, color, and pattern review project to get the creative ideas hopping – and these owls did the trick.  Whoooo wouldn’t love drawing up a few of these?

Hi Susan – yep, this is an all-school project, successful for everyone. We traced around milk jug caps and old marker lids for the eyes and built the owl from there. I had planned to display them in school, but the kids all wanted to hang them in their lockers, so everyone is taking them home!
