We are settling back in after Christmas break – and gearing up with new and exciting projects!

Kindergarten kiddos enjoyed learning about Mondrian this week, along with a review of primary colors, shapes, and lines.  We explored Mondrian’s Broadway Boogie Woogie and learned about horizontal and vertical lines.

Here we are making our bodies into vertical lines….

And horizontal lines!

And then it was our turn to create our own Boogie Woogie – we glued black construction paper lines to a 12×12 sheet of paper, and chose our 4 favorite colors to finish our Georgetown Boogie Woogies.
