Hudsonville Artists Recognized at School Board Meeting

Four Hudsonville Elementary students were recognized Thursday night by our School Board for their outstanding artwork that was included in the 40th World School Children’s Art Exhibition.

Georgetown’s Shari and Aubrey, along with Bauer’s Elaina and Corrinne have their artwork on display in Taiwan through September 20th as a part of the World School Art Exhibition.  The exhibition showcases student art from all over the world in an effort to promote understanding and friendship between children through the exchange of their artwork.

It truly is an honor to be included in the exhibition – this year’s show included entries from over 100,000 students worldwide, with 30,000 pieces accepted for display.   The portrait submitted by Bauer’s Elaina also received a Silver Award in the show!
