Fifth Grade O’Keeffe Project

Our Fifth Graders recently studied the work of American artist Georgia O’Keeffe. They admired O’Keeffe’s large flower paintings and then created a flower drawing using oil pastels, blending the colors carefully to create velvety flower petals like they viewed on O’Keeffe’s “Red Poppy” painting.
Here is a sample of their work!
